Abstract

The purpose of this research was to know the cost and return of farm improvement of dairy cooperative members in Ubon Ratchathani Province In order to know the problems and obstacles in improving the farm of dairy cooperative members in Ubon Ratchathani Province and to know the ways to reduce the cost of farm improvement of dairy cooperative members in Ubon Ratchathani Province.

                   The results showed that The cost of dairy farming consists of investment expenses and operating expenses of 367,793.97 baht, with the investment cost starting at 544,680 baht for operating expenses from the first investment year until the 10th year Equal to 1,622,630.51 baht, returns from dairy farming Throughout the 10-year project life, farmers' investment in pilot farms Receive all returns or income equal to 13,694,128.73 Which is the revenue from the sale of raw milk is equal to 12,471,050.45 baht and is the revenue from the sale of 1,223,078 baht of cow dung More than zero, the rate of return of the project (IRR) is equal to 7.48% which is the interest rate as of March 2018.     

          Guidelines for cost reduction for farm improvement of dairy cooperative members in Ubon Ratchathani province. First, there should be financing to support farmers. Including training the farmer before raising before starting dairy farming from the Department of Livestock Development and studying new farming methods and techniques. Second, the government sector should come to control food prices. As well as promoting consumption of products in the country In order to reduce problems that occur with agriculture it self and Agriculture should keep the dairy farm clean. In order to improve the health of dairy cows, reducing the cost of treating diseases of dairy cows Which directly affects the quality of raw milk And make agriculture receive the highest raw milk price according to the market price.
