Strategies for Promoting Professional Skills for area of WiangNua, Wiangnue Sub-district, Wiang Chai District, Chiang Rai

Abstract

This study aimed to 1.) analyze the factors effecting the promotion of professional skill of the community, 2.) determine the strategies to promote professional skill of the community, and 3.) evaluate the strategies for promoting professional skills for area of Wiangnuea Sub-district, Wiang Chai District, Chiang Rai. The target group of this research consisted of 22 community leaders, community members, organization leaders, entrepreneurs, monks, local wisdom elites and external experts and then the strategy evaluation for promoting professional skills for area of Wiangnuea Sub-district, Wiang Chai District, Chiang Rai was evaluated by 5 scholarly experts. The research instruments were documents for focus group, a factor analysis form, a strategy form, and a strategy evaluation form. The statistics for data analysis were mean, standard deviation, and content analysis. The results showed that:

1. Factors effecting the promotion of professional skills for area of Wiangnuea Sub-district, Wiang Chai District, Chiang Raiappeared thatThe external factors which were the opportunities, the external factors which were the threats, the internal factors which were the strengths and the internal factors which were the weaknesses
2. The 7 strategies for promoting professional skills for area of Wiangnuea Sub-district, Wiang Chai District, Chiang Rai were as follows 1) Promote professional skills for the better life by community involvement 2) Promote personnel development on professional skills for the community 3) Promote budget for professional skills of the community 4) Develop learning resources and provide sufficient materials to develop professional skills of the community by community involvement 5) Promote public relation to allocate the budget for supporting occupation and developing professional skills of the community 6) Develop the effectiveness of information technology system and 7) Improve the management system by the cooperation network.
3. The result of the evaluation the effectiveness of strategies based on the utility, feasibility, propriety standard and the accuracy appeared that every strategy was ranked at the highest level.
