Abstract

The traditional medicine is both science and art of heath care. An integration of Thai traditional medicine into the modern medicine system is one guideline for promoting people to have good health. Thus the researcher was interested in Thai traditional medicine service development for developing and seeking new choices of people’s heath care. The action research study was aimed at development of quality standard of Thai traditional medicines service : A case study in Srinarong hospital, Srinarong district, Surin province Thailand. The sample group participated in all operational process of PAOR. The planning stage was for knowledge by educational tour and workshop for operational planning. The action step was followed up the operation plan. The observational step was evaluation the operation by observation and participatory small group interview. The relational step consisted of two-way communicative learning and comparison the participation quality both before and after. The data were obtained using questionnaires and unstructured interviews. The collected data were analyzed using percentage, mean, standard deviation and paired t-test.The findings of the study indicated that the person who involved in the management have the clear knowledge and understanding or work standard the participation and the operation of work. The participants showed the scores of development more efficiency than before at the 0.05 level of significance.
