Lifelong Learning Process of THAI Wisdom Teachers

The objective of this research was to analyze the lifelong learning process of Thai wisdom teachers. The population of this study was 47 selected and honored Thai medicine wisdom teachers under Office of the Education Council during 2001 and 2019, totaling 9 batches. The methodology of this research was conducted through a qualitative research. In-depth interview was used to collect data. Data collected were then applied to obtain lessons learned to be grouped and interpreted in order to determine the association and the relationship between data. Later, data were summarized to investigate the lifelong learning process of Thai wisdom teachers.
The results of this study indicated that the lifelong learning process of each Thai medicine wisdom teacher was based on personal factors and environmental factors such as individual, family, community, and society, etc. that lead to the learning process, accumulation of experience, and ultimately behavior modification for continuous learning throughout life, consisting of (1) knowledge, principles, important concepts in learning, (2) methods used in learning, (3) problems, obstacles and solutions during learning, (4) factors affecting learning success, (5) examination of obtained information from learning and (6) knowledge creation and integrating knowledge with daily life.
