Social Organization Policy Implementation : A Case Study of Rules and Regulation On Entertainment Enterprises, Khlong Luang District, Pathum Thani Province

Abstract

The objectives of this study were to study the implication of social organization policy for the entertainment enterprises; to compare the level of opinions as to the implication of social organization policy for the entertainment enterprises; and to gather the recommendations concerning problems and solutions for the implementation of social organization policy for the entertainment enterprises in Khlong Luang district, Pathum Thani province. This research study was conducted using a quantitative research methods to gather the data from academic documents. The data was also gathered through questionnaires answered by 400 samples of the customers of the entertainment enterprises in order to obtain the data for the analysis and the discussion of results according to the specified research objectives.

            The results revealed that the operations performed by the administrative department on the issue of the implication of social organization policy for the entertainment enterprises consisted of using public relations to build legal understanding, requesting cooperation from the entertainment enterprises, making a strict check-up visit to the area, and monitoring and inspecting restaurants, bars and pubs. Nowadays, it was found that the problems of illegal liquor or selling liquor to customers under the legal age; and drug inspection or the carry of weapons into entertainment enterprises decreased due to the fact that the owners of entertainment enterprises were enthusiastic; they also cooperated and accepted the rules and regulations for entertainment enterprises. Moreover, they were afraid of the punishment. However, there appeared to be the offense of the entertainment enterprises because there still were powerful owners of entertainment enterprises and officials having mutual benefits; therefore, it required cooperation from all sectors in society to reduce these problems.
