Submission and Acceptance Policy

The UTCC Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences is committed to publishing high‑quality scholarship that advances knowledge in the fields of economics, business administration, accounting, service industries, education, arts and design, law and legal studies, and communication arts, as well as broader areas of the humanities and social sciences. Submissions must present original contributions, demonstrate academic rigor, and provide insights that are both citable and applicable to scholarly and professional communities.

All manuscripts undergo a rigorous evaluation process prior to publication. Each submission is reviewed by three independent peer reviewers drawn from diverse institutions, none of whom are affiliated with the authors’ home institution. The journal employs a double‑blind peer review system, ensuring that both authors and reviewers remain anonymous throughout the process. This procedure safeguards impartiality, enhances scholarly integrity, and guarantees that published articles meet the highest standards of quality. Accepted articles are recognized as valid academic outputs and may be used to support applications for academic positions and promotions.

The journal publishes two issues annually: Issue 1 (January–June) and Issue 2 (July–December). It accepts two categories of manuscripts: (1) Research Articles, presenting original empirical or theoretical findings, and (2) Academic Articles, offering critical analyses, reviews, or conceptual contributions.

Beginning with Volume 46, Issue 1 (January–June 2026), the journal will waive all article processing charges, in accordance with UTCC Announcement No. 249/2025. This policy reflects the journal’s commitment to accessibility, equity, and the advancement of scholarly communication without financial barriers
