การพัฒนาการชะลอความพึงพอใจในเด็กปฐมวัยไทย: การทบทวนมุมมองใหม่สู่การปฏิบัติที่เป็นรูปธรรม

บทคัดย่อ
บทความนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อทบทวนหลักฐานทางวิชาการและเสนอแนวทางการพัฒนาการชะลอความพึงพอใจสำหรับเด็กปฐมวัยไทยอายุ 3-6 ปี โดยท้าทายความเชื่อเดิมที่ว่าความสามารถนี้จะปรากฏชัดเจนเมื่อเด็กเข้าสู่ระดับประถมศึกษาบทความนี้ใช้วิธีการวิเคราะห์เอกสารทางวิชาการ ด้านจิตวิทยาพัฒนาการและการศึกษาปฐมวัยร่วมกับการสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึกผู้เชี่ยวชาญด้านการศึกษาปฐมวัยไทยที่มีประสบการณ์ตรงในการสอนและการวิจัย 3 ท่านผลการศึกษาชี้ให้เห็นว่าเด็กปฐมวัยไทยสามารถแสดงการชะลอความพึงพอใจได้โดยเฉพาะในช่วงอายุ 5 ปีขึ้นไปซึ่งแสดงให้เห็นว่าความสามารถนี้เกิดได้ เร็วกว่าที่งานวิจัยเมื่อ 36 ปีที่แล้วเคยศึกษาไว้เนื่องจากเด็กในปัจจุบันได้รับการกระตุ้นทางปัญญา ผู้ปกครอง มีความรู้เพิ่มขึ้น และครูได้รับการฝึกอบรมที่ทันสมัยกว่า แนวทางการพัฒนาที่มีประสิทธิภาพประกอบด้วยการเรียนรู้ผ่านการเล่นที่มีโครงสร้าง การใช้กิจกรรมที่มีลักษณะรูปธรรมที่ต้องรอผลลัพธ์และการสร้างแรงจูงใจผ่านการให้เด็กเข้าใจความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างการรอคอยกับผลประโยชน์ที่ดีกว่าอุปสรรคสำคัญคือผู้ปกครอง ที่ไม่ยอมให้เด็กรอเนื่องจากความเป็นห่วงปัจจัยกำหนดความสำเร็จคือความร่วมมือระหว่างครูและผู้ปกครองการสร้างความต่อเนื่องจากปฐมวัยสู่ประถมศึกษาและการบูรณาการเข้าสู่กิจวัตรประจำวัน
