Cultural Creative Economy : A Reformation of Local Wisdom Content in Thailand 4.0 Generation

Abstract
The study was aimed to 1.) study development of local wisdom education in secondary schools. 2.) develop a pattern of employment of local wisdom content in secondary schools. The study is a qualitative research which was done by examining related texts and documents as well as field research which was participated by 100 informants including government officers and local people. The data was collected by using questionnaire, observation form, interview, and focus group. The data was then analyzed according to the study aims by descriptive analysis approach. The result on development of local wisdom education in secondary schools shows that the local wisdom content has been employed for decades but it was apparently employed when enclosed in the National Education Act of B.E. 2542 (1997). When the Basic Education Core Curriculum B.E. 2551 (2008) was promulgated, local wisdom content was consequently appeared in Learning Area of Occupations and Technology, Learning Area of Social Studies, Religion and Culture, Learning Area of Thai Language, and Learning Area of Arts. The contents of local wisdom, therefore, could be developed by the integration between Creative Economy Concept and Local Wisdom Content Employment. The product of this integration is a supplementary subject called “Cultural Creative Economy”. The subject belongs to the Learning Area of Occupations and Technology that shall be instructed by using project work and evaluated by creations of pieces of work or products in order to bring out creativity potential of learners.
