บทคัดย่อ
คำว่าแซนด์บ็อกซ์เริ่มรู้จักและคุ้นเคยในสังคมไทยเมื่อไม่นานมานี้และเป็นคำเรียกพื้นที่ทดลองแนวคิดใหม่ หรือนวัตกรรมใหม่ เช่น กรณีการเปิดท่องเที่ยวแบบแซนด์บ็อกซ์ที่เกาะภูเก็ต แต่ไม่ใช่เพราะภูเก็ตเป็นเกาะและมีหาดทรายจึงเรียกว่าแซนด์บ็อกซ์เพราะจริง ๆ แล้วแซนด์บ็อกซ์เป็นซื่อเรียกพื้นที่ทดลองแนวคิดใหม่ซึ่งจะเป็นอะไร และจะทดลองในพื้นที่ไหนก็ได้ แต่ปัญหาในเชิงวิชาการเกิดขึ้นเมื่อมีการนำแนวคิดนี้ไปใช้อย่างแพร่หลายในทุกวงการในประเทศไทย เพราะไม่ใช่การทดลองแนวคิดใหม่ทุกอย่างเป็นแซนด์บ็อกซ์กันหมด และสำคัญคือที่เรียกกันว่าแซนด์บ็อกซ์นั้นใช้หลักคิดและวิธีการแซนด์บ็อกซ์หรือไม่ การทดลองที่สำเร็จหรือล้มเหลวนั้นเกิดจากตัวนวัตกรรมเองหรือเกิดจากการออกแบบแซนด์บ็อกซ์ในการทดลองใช้แนวคิดใหม่ วัตถุประสงค์ของบทความนี้เพื่อการทบทวนความเข้าใจเกี่ยวกับแซนด์บ็อกซ์และการนำใช้แนวคิดดังกล่าวในการทดลองใช้แนวคิดใหม่ ดังจะได้นำเสนอต่อไป
