A study of factors affecting the decision to study in schools Vocational education Srisaket Province

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to 1) study aims to investigate the factors and its importance affecting the decision to study in a private vocational school. Srisaket Province. 2) Comparison of factors affecting the decision to study in private vocational schools Srisaket Province Of the first year vocational certificate students who are studying in private vocational schools, classified by gender, occupation of parents Family status And the average monthly income of the family. 3) Study the problems and guidelines for the development of conditions, factors affecting the decision to study in a private vocational school Srisaket Province. The samples were vocational certificate students (vocational certificate), first year, currently studying in a private vocational school. Sisaket Province, 313 people. The instrument used in the research was a questionnaire. The characteristics were 5 rating scales with confidence level of whole questionnaires equal to .89. The statistics used for data analysis were percentage, average, standard deviation. The hypotheses were tested by using the t-test (Independent-Sample T Test), One-way Analysis of Variance and the Scheffe's method.

The research found that 1. Most students are female. Most of the parents' occupation is employed. The family status is the father and mother living together, the average monthly income of the family is 5,000 - 10,000 baht. 2. The decision to study at a private vocational school Srisaket Province Overall is at a high level. When considering in each aspect in the high level of 5 aspects, while the personal reasoning was at a medium level.  The comparison of factors affecting the decision to study in a private vocational school Sisaket Province Classified by gender, occupation, parents’ Family status Overall is no different. But when classified by the average monthly income of the family Overall and different aspects significantly at the .05 level. 3. Additional suggestions regarding problems with private vocational schools Sisaket province found that Respondents have suggested in all aspects. As for the fees, education and service fees, there was no problem. And also received additional suggestions that In terms of expenses which is not a problem if the school is a famous place And accepted but if each school has differences in costs that are cheaper it will have an advantage over other schools that have higher costs.
