COMMUNITY CAREER TRAINING COURSES DEVELOPMENT OF THEP NAKHON SUBDISTRICT, MUEANG DISTRICT, KAMPHAENG PHET PROVINCE; UNDER THE INTEGRATED ECONOMIC AND SOCIAL ENHANCEMENT OF SUBDISTRICT PROJECT BY KAMPHAENG PHET RAJABHAT UNIVERSITY

Abstract

This research aimed 1. to investigate the career development needs of individuals in Thep Nakhon subdistrict municipality, 2. to develop a community-based vocational training program, and 3) to implement a vocational training program within the Thep Nakhon subdistrict municipality. This research was conducted in three phases consisting of 1. conducted survey research with the samples were 382 key performants, and households in the Thep Nakhon Sub-district Municipality. The statistics for the data analysis were the percentage, mean, and standard deviation. 2. Three experts assess the effectiveness of the community-based vocational training courses regarding the consistency of the components of its. In addition, 3. conducted a training workshop on community-based vocational courses for the people of Thep Nakhon district. The statistics for the data analysis were the percentage, mean, and standard deviation. The findings revealed that: 1. The requirements of the residents in the Thep Nakhon sub-district municipality were to develop their careers to generate income as they could participate in weekday short-term workshop training courses with a training period of 1-3 days. Furthermore, the development of the income-generating occupation. 2. The seven community-based vocational training courses developed for individuals in the Thep Nakhon Subdistrict municipality were consistent across all components and accounted for 100 percent. 3) The seven community-based vocational training courses developed provide trainees with the knowledge, operational skills, and satisfaction of all courses more than 80 percent.
