บทคัดย่อ
บทความนี้นำเสนอสูตรไวยากรณ์ภาษาสันสกฤตที่เกี่ยวข้องกับน้ำเมาจากตำราไวยากรณ์ชื่ออัษฏาธยายีของปาณินิ ซึ่งแต่งขึ้นเมื่อราว 350 ปีก่อนคริสตกาล โดยนำเสนอคำศัพท์ที่เกี่ยวข้องกับน้ำเมา รวมทั้งลักษณะทางไวยากรณ์ที่ปรากฏในสูตรดังกล่าว สำหรับสูตรที่เกี่ยวกับน้ำเมามีทั้งสิ้น 9 สูตร ได้แก่ 2.4.25, 3.1.100, 3.1.117, 3.1.126, 4.2.99, 4.3.76, 5.2.112, 5.4.3, 6.2.10, และ 6.2.70 คำศัพท์ที่เกี่ยวกับน้ำเมาแบ่งได้เป็นสองกลุ่ม คือ คำศัพท์ที่บอกชนิดของน้ำเมา และคำศัพท์ที่เกี่ยวข้องกับกระบวนการผลิตและการขายน้ำเมา สุดท้ายนำเสนอไวยากรณ์ที่เกี่ยวข้องกับน้ำเมาตามหลักการสร้างคำในภาษาสันสกฤต โดยการใช้ปัจจัยกฤต ปัจจัยตัทธิต และวิธีการสมาส
