THE STATES AND DEVELOPMENT GUIDELINES OF USING OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY FOR ACADEMIC ADMINISTRATION OF SCHOOL ADMINISTRATORS UNDER THE OFFICE OF UBON RATCHATHANI PRIMARY EDUCATIONAL SERVICE AREA 3

Abstract

The purposes of this research were to 1) to study state and development guidelines using of information technology in academic administration of school administrators, 2) to compare the states of using of information technology in academic administration of school administrators, and 3) to study the development guidelines using of information technology in academic administration of school administrators under the Office of Ubon Ratchathani Primary Educational Service Area 3. The samples used in the study were of 599 school executives, teachers in charge of academic works, and teachers in the schools under the Office of Ubon Ratchathani Primary Educational Service Area Office 3. Data collection was done through questionnaires and were analyzed by frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and One-way ANOVA.

The research findings were as follows: 1) The overall state of using of information technology in academic administration of school administrators under the Office of Ubon Ratchathani Primary Educational Service Area 3 is in high level. 2) Comparison study on the state of using of information technology in academic administration of school administrators under the Office of Ubon Ratchathani Primary Educational Service Area 3 found significant difference at the statistically significant level as of 0.05. Lastly, 3. The development guideline of using information technology in academic administration of school administrators under the Office of Ubon Ratchathani Primary Educational Service Area 3 suggests that 1) there should be sufficient budget allocated for computer hardware and academic administration software for school administrators’ usage and related continuous training programs; 2) there should be information system management for easy usage; 3) there should be a provision of experts for giving suggestion when school administrators need; 4) there should be database covering the needs of school administrators; and 4 there should be the development of Internet provision in all necessary areas to improve the work efficiency.
