Abstract

This article is a compilation of 61 articles and books that deal with competencies, skills, behaviors and media ethics related primarily to film workers and secondarily to the film industry. Based on an examination of the Elsevier database, all of which met the Scopus standards, it was found that the first information mentioning professionalism in audiovisual media dates back to 1953. After that, the topic was widely discussed and tended to increase in the years 2005 - 2022. Using VOSviewer to analyze the bibliography and visualize all the data, it was found that skills and personnel in film work have important knowledge gaps that need to be investigated for their relevance. There are also gaps in knowledge and skills in the areas of observing the whole experience, professionalism, ethics and challenges.
