This is a qualitative research project using 15 current international students at Silpakorn University International College (SUIC) as case studies. It was found that international students were motivated to study at SUIC for personal, academic, and geographical reasons. International students have the ability to adapt to different countries and Thai cultures, differences between Thai culture and foreign students' culture, communication skills, ability to socialize with locals, overseas experience and personality. In addition, international students' satisfaction depended on the quality of education, learning facilities and support for international students. The study leads to the creation of guidelines for the implementation of international higher education programs that focus on the following areas: 1) creating motivation to study, 2) developing study guidelines, and 3) providing support for international students.
