TOURISM DEVELOPMENT FOR PARTICIPATORY LEARNING IN ORGANIC FARM OF KNONG NAM SAI COMMUNITY, NAKONRATCHASIMA PROVINCE

This study aimed to 1) analyze the management potential of Nong Nam Sai Community Enterprise Group, 2) study the participation of Nong Nam Sai Community Enterprise Group, and 3) develop the potential of organic agricultural learning tourism management of Nong Nam Sai Community Enterprise. This research was a combination of qualitative and quantitative research. There were 2 groups of samples used in the study: 1) qualitative research sample: 30 community leaders, government officials, and representatives of Nong Nam Sai Community Enterprise Group, which were selected through purposive sampling using in-depth interviews; and quantitative research sample: 400 people who were expected to be tourists and were interested in organic agricultural tourism, which were selected through purposive sampling using questionnaires as a data collection tool. Content analysis, triangulation, and classification/categorization analysis were used for data analysis for qualitative research. Descriptive statistics, including mean, and standard deviation. The interview results showed that Nong Nam Sai Community Enterprise Group had efficient management, with cooperation within the community and support from government agencies in some areas. However, it still faced various problems, such as high production costs and lack of appropriate distribution channels. The community also plays an important role in tourism development by cooperating in taking care of tourist attractions, developing organic agricultural products, and strengthening the local economy from tourism. This includes maintaining cleanliness and developing various services related to tourism. The quantitative research results found that community participation in overall tourist attraction management is at a medium level. The operation and operation aspect is ranked first, followed by monitoring and evaluation, planning, and benefit receipt, respectively. In terms of overall community tourism management potential, it is still at a medium level. Attractiveness aspect is ranked first, followed by service aspect, supporting tourists’ aspect, and management aspect, respectively.
