This article begins with the aims to explore and review the process of author’s thoughts, and especially the direction of literature review plan for its study. Sharing the objectives and also the background of this study clearly leads to the way to conduct an effective literature review. Additionally, exploring the unfamiliar theories, concepts that make researcher practices of including and excluding under the theme study of mindfulness and digital media literacy in western perspectives. In particular, mapping the visual thinking, makes me crystal clear the relationship of each factor and the direction of literature review that leads me to evidently envisage for the next steps of my study journey.
