Abstract

Worship is a documentary film that began with skepticism about the existence of monks today. And what role do most monks perform in Thai society? In an era in which most or most of the monks do not teach, preach, or demonstrate different ways of living, in addition to performing religious ceremonies on various occasions. Including doubts about Buddhist temples that are not so different from the house of the laity, which have the same facilities, or some temples may have more. But finally, the issue of documentary has finally been expanded to be an overview of the Thai society through worshiping various things.
This documentary film wants to show the faith of people towards religion, god and goddess through the expression of worship. However, it has also added additional stories to present personal opinions as well, aside from what is shown in other real events through camera angles and editing, which is the format that the researcher wants to do. And with the belief that documentary films as works of art should have the opinions of their creators, rather than just recording the truth. From the aforementioned point of view to the intention of making the movie visible to both domestic and international audiences. Although some events may not be inappropriate in the sense that the religion or the beautiful image of the country deterioration. But with the good intent of seeing that the revelation shows rotting wounds should lead to treatment better to allow the wound to rot and the whole body cannot heal. But apart from that, in addition to the filming of certain events, it shows the beauty of worship in Buddhism as well, something that blends beliefs and celebrations so perfectly that it can create wonder for the researchers.
