Abstract

Old adults and people with disabilities are vulnerable groups that often face digital divide challenges due to various limitations, such as physical diversity and age-related differences. These barriers hinder their access to essential information and services, thereby widening the digital divide in Thai society. This study aims to explore principles and processes for designing inclusive websites to help bridge this gap. Employing qualitative research methods, the study involves content analysis and interviews with individuals with visual and hearing impairments and those from diverse age groups. Based on the findings, a preliminary website design model (prototype) was developed and tested with the original participants. The result is the Inclusive Website Design Canvas, a guideline for web designers and academics to promote inclusive digital access and reduce digital inequality.
