Abstract
From a book entitled "Local Rituals and Beliefs", it was found that the research on local rituals and beliefs was divided into 4 parts: 1) rituals and beliefs of the North; 2) rituals and beliefs of the central region; 3) rituals and beliefs of the Northeast; and 4) the rituals and beliefs of the South. Local rituals were social activities emphasizing community participation that showed good relations local rituals were not organized, the family may be punished for suffering between communities with bonds and unity with Buddhism as the medium or the village head as a link. It was a belief that if people acted accordingly, there will be peace and happiness for families and communities. On the other hand, if some without peace
