This academic article aimed at examining the language strategies used to communicate Sergeant Sam shared memories to convey meaning in electronic media, online news and music. Data for the analysis came from 30 text, With data used to study 3 data groups: 1) News of the construction of the monument of Sergeant Sam in the online news 2) News about Sergeant Sam's capsule inventions
3)The song about Sergeant Sam heroes Such data is classified into two types of communication content:1) informational content such as News of the construction of the monument of Sergeant Sam in the online news Sergeant Sam's capsule artifact 2) persuasive content such as Sergeant Sam Song. It was found that the contents of language strategies used to communicate shared memories to convey meaning Sergeant Sam has four language strategies such as 1) lexical strategies consist of 1.1) denote meaning for memory communication 1.2) Naming for the meaning of the memorial 1.3) positive meaning consist of lexical of satisfactory characteristics, lexical of praise 2) pragmatic strategies consist of speech acts of representatives by government sector, speech acts of representatives by private sector 3) Using tradition
