Operational Model of Community Learning Center in Phitsanulok Province

Abstract

The purposes of this research were to build the optional model of community learning, center in Phitsanulok province. The processes were conducted consecutively as follows; Step 1 Analyzing and synthesizing the composition of optional model of community learning center through 21 key informant interviews. Step 2 Building and verifying quality of the composition of optional model of community learning center. Data were collected based a connoisseur method. Step 3 Trailing and evaluating the optional model of community learning center. Data sources for trail were 2 places of the community learning center in Phitsanulok province. Sources of information for evaluating the optional model of community learning center were 15 committees from Neu Rung-Arun community learning center and 19 committees from Wat Kao Kaew Prachanurak community learning center, 46 users from Neu Rung-Arun community learning center and 56 users from Wat Kao Kaew Prachanurak community learning center. The research equipment was a satisfaction questionnaire. Statistical analyses including mean, median, Standard Deviation and Inter quartile range.    

                  The findings showed that a total of six compositions of optional model of community learning center in Phitsanulok province, namely Physical structure,  Management, Volunteer, Service and promote learning activity of community, Information resource, Networking and community participation.  For evaluation of the optional model of community learning center, the research results showed that the satisfactions of managers from both Neu community learning centers were at a high level. The users of community learning center at Wat Koh Kaew Prachanurak were satified with the overall community learning center operation model at the highest level. As for the users from  Neu Rung-Arun community learning center, they were satisfied at a high level.
