Knowledge Sharing Behaviors on Teaching and Learning through Online Platforms: A New Normal Learning of Undergraduates in Southern Tertiary Education Level, Thailand

The study aimed to examine levels of knowledge-sharing behavior and behaviors in sharing teaching and learning knowledge through online platforms of undergraduate students in the Southern tertiary education level of Thailand. This study was survey research and employed questionnaires with 380 first-year students at an autonomous university in Thailand. The data was collected from July to September of 2021. The data were analyzed by descriptive statistics. It was found that 1. Knowledge-sharing behavior mostly happened among students with common interests (83.20%). The sharing process was on Facebook groups (68.40%), and knowledge sharing occurred when there were assignments (85%). In addition, the students often shared knowledge by texting (82.40%). 2. Team learning behavior appeared to be the primary behavior in knowledge sharing at the highest level ( = 4.14). Consequently, supporting team members was presented at the highest level ( = 4.25). Moreover, listening to members’ opinions aspect was ( = 4.17), communicating among members aspect was ( = 4.13), reaching consensus and applying knowledge aspect was ( = 4.13), and analyzing problems aspect was ( = 4.00), respectively. 3. Knowledge-sharing behavior was presented at the highest level ( = 4.20). In detail, the teaching and learning aspect showed the highest average ( = 4.30). Further, learning networking aspect was ( = 4.24), reviewing lessons aspect was ( = 4.16), promoting the learning process aspect was ( = 4.15), and group discussion aspect was ( = 4.13), respectively.
