Na Chueak Local Wisdom Database System with Public Participation

This research aims to explore and gather information needs of the community (The Na Chueak Lover Group) The method of interviewing people in the community to emphasize the participation of the community in the preliminary study, information management, design and system development for information management of Na Chueak local wisdom in Na Chueak Sub-district, Na Chueak District, Maha Sarakham Province in the form of database system. To be used for storing, disseminating and retrieval through Internet by the participation of the community. The system is developed by a web application with PHP, Bootstrap is a CSS framework for developing user interface and MySQL database. The result found that Local wisdom management can be divided into 9 types; 1) Local business and Funds 2) Natural resources and environment management 3) Agriculture 4) Thai traditional medicine 5) Language and literature 6) Nutrition 7) Religion, philosophy and tradition 8) Fine arts and 9) Industry and handicrafts according to the criteria of the Ministry of Education. Na Chueak Lovers’ Group need the database system to manage, conserve, and disseminate their local wisdom.
