STRATEGIC LEADERSHIP OF ADMINISTRATORS AFFECTING OPERATIONAL STANDARDS OF CHILD CARE CENTERS UNDER SUPHANBURI LOCAL ADMINISTRATIVE ORGANIZATIONS

Abstract
This Article aimed to study 1) the strategic leadership of administrators; 2) the level of operational standards of child development centers; and 3) the strategic leadership of administrators affecting operational standards of child development centers under Suphan Buri local administrative organizations. The sample was 254 administrators and teachers under Suphan Buri local administrative organizations, derived by proportional stratified random sampling distributed by type of local administrative organizations. The research instrument was a questionnaire constructed by the researcher. Data were analyzed with frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and stepwise multiple regression analysis. The research results were found as follows;
1 Overall and in specific aspects, the strategic leadership of administrators was at a high level. The aspects were having high-level cognitive activity, gathering multiple inputs to formulate strategy, creating a vision, anticipating and creating a future, and revolutionary thinking.
2 Overall and in specific aspects, the operational standard of child development centers was at a high level. The aspects were child development center management; academic and curricular activities; building, surrounding, environment, and security; personnel; promotion of early childhood development network; and involvement and support.
3 The strategic leadership of administrators in the aspects of anticipating and creating a future (X3) and having high-level cognitive activity (X1) together predicted the operational standards of child development centers at the percentage of 55.20 with a statistical significance level of .05. The regression analysis equation was:
