Academic Leadership of School Administrators Affecting to Quality of Students Under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office Nakhon Pathom

Abstract

The purposes of this research were 1) to study academic leadership of school administrators under The Secondary Educational Service Area Office Nakhon Pathom   2) to study quality of students under The Secondary Educational Service Area Office Nakhon Pathom 3) to study academic leadership of school administrators affecting to quality of students under The Secondary Educational Service Area Office Nakhon Pathom. The sample were 28 schools under The Secondary Educational Service Area Office Nakhon Pathom. There were 6 informants representing of each school including school administrators, school vice administrator, head of academic department and teacher totaling 168 people 100 percent. The instrument used in this study was questionnaires. The statistics used in data analyzing were frequency, percentage, arithmetic Mean, Standard deviation and Stepwise Multiple Regression Analysis. The data was analyzed using Package Program. The results of this research were as follows: 1. Academic leadership of school administrators under The Secondary Educational Service Area Office Nakhon Pathom overall was at a high level, when considering each aspect was found at the high level in all aspects. Sort from most to least as follows: Teacher performance supervision, setting school goals, Providing the necessary resources, Environment conducive to learning and in orderly, Classroom arrangements are conducive to teachers' teaching, communicating to everyone that the school expects high student achievement and Checking student’s progress, respectively.  2.Quality of students under The Secondary Educational Service Area Office Nakhon Pathom overall was at a high level, when considering each aspect was found at the high level in all aspects. Sort from most to least as follows: Physical and psychosocial health, having good characteristics and values as specified by educational institutions, priding local and Thainess and Accept to live together on differences and diversity, respectively. 3. Academic leadership of school administrators affecting to quality of students under The Secondary Educational Service Area Office Nakhon Pathom were Checking student’s progress, communicating to everyone that the school expects high student achievement, Teacher performance supervision, Environment conducive to learning and in orderly, Classroom arrangements are conducive to teachers' teaching affecting quality of students under The Secondary Educational Service Area Office Nakhon Pathom, statistically significant at the .05 level, the overall (Y_tot) was 95.2 percent, the adjusted prediction efficiency (Adjusted R Square) was 0.904 and the standard error in prediction (Standard Error) was 0.153.
