The Student Support System Operation Under the Trang Primary Educational Service Area Office 1

Abstract
The purposes of this research were to 1) study the operation of the student support system in educational institutions under the Trang Primary Educational Service Area Office 1, and 2) compare the operation of the student support system in these institutions based on the variables of gender, educational qualification, work experience, and school size. The sample used in this research was 313 teachers from educational institutions under the Trang Primary Educational Service Area Office 1 for the academic year 2023, selected using simple random sampling through a lottery method. The research instrument was a 35-item questionnaire with a five-point Likert scale, which had a reliability value of .879 Data were analyzed using a software program to determine frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, and ANOVA. The research results revealed that 1) the operation of the student support system in educational institutions under the Trang Primary Educational Service Area Office 1 is at the highest level overall and in each aspect. 2) When comparing the operation of the student support system based on educational qualifications, there were no significant differences overall, but in the aspect of student screening, significant differences were found at the .05 level. Regarding work experience, there were no overall differences, but in the aspect of promoting and developing learners, significant differences were found at the .05 level, and in the area of prevention, assistance, and problem-solving for students, significant differences were found at the .01 level, except for gender and school size, which showed no differences.
