Factors Affecting Technology Learning for the Elderly in the Digital Era

Abstract
This research aims to: 1. study the level of technology acceptance factors among the elderly and their access to technology in the digital era. Examine the factors affecting the accessibility of technology among the elderly in the digital era. 2. study the factors affecting the access to technology of the elderly in the digital age. This study employs a quantitative research approach. The sample group consists of 400 retirees aged 60 and above in Din Daeng District, Bangkok, selected through accidental sampling combined with purposive sampling. Data were analyzed using percentage, mean, standard deviation, T-Test, one-way ANOVA, and multiple regression analysis. Research Findings 1. The overall level of technology acceptance factors influencing elderly learning in the digital era was at a high level and the level of access to technology among the elderly, which affects their learning in the digital era, was also at a high level 2. Regarding the factors affecting elderly access to technology in the digital era, hypothesis testing revealed that personal factors such as gender, current occupation, family structure, and challenges in learning technology showed no significant differences in their impact on technology access among the elderly.However, factors such as age, education level, pre-retirement occupation, average monthly income, and experience in using online technology showed significant differences in technology access among the elderly at a statistical significance level of 0.05. Furthermore, technology acceptance factors were found to significantly influence the elderly's access to technology in the digital era.
