The purposes of this research were to: (1) investigate the levels of creative leadership and the promotion of professional teacher competencies by school administrators (2) compare the levels of creative leadership and the promotion of professional teacher competencies based on gender, position, work experience, and school size (3) examine the relationship between creative leadership and the promotion of professional teacher competencies by school administrators and (4) synthesize recommendations regarding creative leadership and the promotion of professional teacher competencies by school administrators. The research employed a survey research design. The sample consisted of 281 teachers under the jurisdiction of the Pattani Primary Educational Service Area Office 3. The sample size was determined using Taro Yamane’s formula. The research instrument was a five-point Likert scale questionnaire. The statistics used for data analysis included percentage, mean, standard deviation, independent samples t-test, one-way analysis of variance (F-test), and Pearson’s product-moment correlation coefficient. The research findings revealed that: (1) the overall level and each dimension of school administrators’ creative leadership were at the highest level;  the overall level and each dimension of the promotion of professional teacher competencies by school administrators were also at the highest level (2) comparisons of school administrators’ creative leadership showed statistically significant differences at the .01 level in both the overall aspect and individual dimensions  comparisons of the promotion of professional teacher competencies classified by position, work experience, and school size revealed statistically significant differences at the .01 level, whereas no significant difference was found when classified by gender (3) creative leadership was positively correlated with the promotion of professional teacher competencies (r = .726), with statistical significance at the .01 level; and (4) The findings suggest that school administrators should promote creative leadership by encouraging teachers to actively participate in school administration, decision-making, and problem-solving processes.
