บทคัดย่อ
การศึกษาครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ศึกษาผลของการใช้สื่อสังคมออนไลน์ในห้องเรียนกับการเรียนรู้ของนักศึกษาคณะเศรษฐศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยหอการค้าไทย ปีการศึกษา 2557 โดย วิธีการทดลองแบบสุ่มและมีกลุ่มควบคุม (Randomized Controlled Trial: RCT) มีกลุ่มตัวอย่างจากผู้ลงทะเบียนเรียนวิชาการลงทุนและวิเคราะห์หลักทรัพย์ (EC412) ภาคเรียนที่ 1 ปีการศึกษา 2557 จำนวน 73 คน ซึ่งทำการสุ่ม (Random) แบ่งเป็นกลุ่มควบคุม จำนวน 34 คน และกลุ่มทดลอง จำนวน 37 คน เพื่อเปรียบเทียบผลการใช้เครื่องมือ สื่อสังคมออนไลน์ (Social Media) ในห้องเรียน กับวิธีการเรียนการสอนแบบปกติ ผลการศึกษาพบว่า การใช้สื่อสังคมออนไลน์ร่วมกับการเรียนการสอนในห้องเรียนเป็นวิธีที่มีผลในการส่งเสริมการเรียนรู้ในห้องเรียนได้มากกว่าวิธีการสอนแบบปกติประมาณร้อยละ 33 อย่างไรก็ตาม การวัดผลสัมฤทธิ์ในการเรียนของกลุ่มตัวอย่างไม่ได้ขึ้นกับสื่อสังคมออนไลน์เพียงอย่างเดียว ความสำเร็จในการเรียนขึ้นกับความตั้งใจและความอยากรู้/อยากเรียนของผู้เรียน อันเป็นปัจจัยที่สำคัญที่สุด อีกด้วย
