LEARNING OUTCOMES ACHIEVEMENT IN COOPERATIVE EDUCATION OF PUBLIC HEALTH COURSE IN VALAYA ALONGKORN RAJABHAT UNIVERSITY UNDER THE ROYAL PATRONAGE, PATHUM THANI PROVINCE

Abstract

The purposes of this descriptive research were to study personal data, learning outcomes achievement and satisfactory level in cooperative education of public health course in Valaya Alongkorn Rajabhat University under the royal patronage, Pathum Thani Province.      The samples of this study composed of sixty seven undergrad students. Data were collected by interview and analyzed by using frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation. The results showed that the majority of samples were female (92.5%), were 21-23 years old (69.1%), average age 22.7 years. All components of learning outcomes achievement were also at a high level. The mean score for the personal characteristic component was the highest (Mean = 4.22,           SD = 0.68), followed by those for reporting (Mean=4.06, S.D.=0.55) and Responsibility for duty (Mean=4.01, S.D.=0.65). The overall score of satisfactory was at a high level (Mean=4.06, S.D.=0.48). All components of the scale were also at a high level. The highest mean score was that for organization (Mean=4.23, S.D.=0.59), followed by those for advisors (Mean=4.03, S.D.=0.48) and cooperative education officer (Mean=3.79, S.D.=0.66). Recommends from this research, administrators can be used as a guide for improve cooperative education of public health course in the future.
