Criticizing on the New Education Act for the Sake of Thais

Abstract

Education Act stands out as a main plan for educational management. Although it enacts as a law, but no exception, the outcome of the plan depends on sub-plan and action plan. The crucial problem of this Education Act was up to its related laws, ministerial regulations, and enforcement of the laws, which led to both problems on implementing educational system and its outcome, especially reorganization our educational administrative system during the last few months. Finally, the first draft of the new act was released, and likely, the new law of Ministry of Higher Education is about to be drafted. Although the whole is not yet clear, the writer, as an academy and stakeholder, could not sit still, but beg for the right to speak up, starting from the analysis of the new draft of Education Acts and trends of Ministry of Higher Education, following by some suggestions for revising the law once again for the sake of our children and society in general.
