Abstract
This research aimed to study the value levels of operations and compare those of internal quality assurance (IQA). The total number of 97 samples was determined from school administrators and teachers from 19 small-sized schools under the area office 1 of which standards were not certified from the Office for National Education Standards and Quality Assessment (ONESQA). The instrument was a rating-scale questionnaire analyzed by frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation as well as t-test. The findings resulted in a high level of the overall and each aspect of IQA operation. The comparison between the opinions of the two groups of samples was not different. The suggestions were found that a plan of developing educational standards should be made in line with the strategy of Kamphaeng Phet Educational Service Area Office 1. All parties concerned should participate to plan and work together in compliance with quality assurance requirements. The committee should be jointly appointed with the school board to audit the quality based on actual conditions. Also, the self-assessment reports should be carried out continuously.
