Abstract

A phenomenon of the political movement that is not bounded by borders has created a milk tea alliance that spans Southeast Asia. The gather of people online expands into a new social movement. This article examines the formation of Milk Tea Alliances taking place in the region along with the concept of cooperation under the framework of international relations. This work also studies the dynamics of the movement of the people who come together systematically. Lastly, this article points out that the establishment of the milk tea alliance was not just a temporary trend. It has been established as a symbol of a regional democracy movement through three elements: Solidarity, technological innovation, and the concept of an alliance for survival.
