Call for Abstracts: 9th GLOBAL CONFERENCE ON GENDER IN AQUACULTURE & FISHERIES

GAFS stands to promote equitable effective interaction and cooperation among scientists, technicians, fisheries officers and non-governmental organization experts involved in issues related to gender in fisheries and aquaculture with the objective of advancing research and practice in Asia-Pacific and other regions of the world. Providing greater visibility and increasing awareness of the importance of incorporating gender and more particularly women in fisheries and aquaculture interventions.

June 30, 2025: Last date for early bird registration
September 30, 2025: Last date for registration at regular rates

For special session proposals:
November 01, 2024: Open for submission of Special Session proposal
May 31, 2025: Last date for submission of Special Session proposal
June 30, 2025: Notification of acceptance for Special Session proposal submissions

For photo contest:
March 01, 2025: Open for submission of Photo Entries
August 30, 2025: Last date for submission of Photo Entries
