Factors Affecting the Development of the Chinese Teaching and Learning, Faculty of Liberal Arts Rajamangala University of Technology Rattanakosin

Abstract

This Article aimed to study (1) the factors affecting the development of the Chinese teaching and learning in faculty of Liberal arts Rajamangala university of technology Rattanakosin (2) offer suggestions on the development of the Chinese teaching and learning. They were selected by simple random sampling the instrument for collecting data was interviews and questionnaires. Analysis data by Descriptive statistics and Content Analysis. The research results were found as follows;

1. Opinions of the Chinese teachers. Most of the Chinese teachers are Chinese major graduates. The main objective of their Chinese courses is to develop Chinese communicative skills. The teaching methods included conversation practice, grammar instruction, Chinese character memorization and sentence writing. Evaluation and assessment criteria are 70:30. The teachers presented their teaching and learning problems as the school lacked language laboratories and learning equipment.


2. The attitudes of students as a whole to the Chinese Learning, In general the result was as satisfactory level teacher, learning and teaching, evaluation and assessment, course content.


3. Students to be able divided into each of the following aspect; More Chinese listening speaking reading and writing, more teaching aids to enhance the students learning, participate in the evaluation and assessment test.
