Abstract

This research is to development and test of dip glaze machine , have gone through the process of pottery manufacturing to the final. However, the glaze is important to control all of the factors affecting the glaze appearance. Measure the ingredients accurately, and mix the glaze thoroughly so that it is homogeneous and properly suspended. The development of glaze ceramics will be experimenting with different chemical structures. By the way, materials used in glaze then is primarily in the ceramics. The experiment must be test materials several time then we get precision and accuracy. The control is using the pneumatic system via programmable logic controller (PLC). These operation of this machine is separated test piece via a suction gripper. The swivel arm of the changer, which is driven by a rotary actuator, moves the test piece to various angles between 0° and 180°. After that, the swivel arm can be transfer point of the downstream station. Overall, the comparison of performance between dipping machine and dipping by hand  then we get the results, the dipping machine test piece can work faster than manual test . This work is not lost time, no fatigue and good quality of test piece.
