JBER Supports the Dissemination of Research Outcomes to Society

2026-07-08

The Journal of Buddhist Education and Research (JBER) is committed to disseminating scholarly knowledge that generates meaningful benefits for society. Beyond publishing peer-reviewed research articles, the Journal actively supports the dissemination of academic books, research outputs, and scholarly innovations developed through high-quality research projects, with the goal of expanding their impact to academic communities and the wider public.

In this spirit, the Editorial Board of JBER is pleased to promote the academic e-book:

Balanced Insulin, Balanced Monastic Life Switching Your Metabolism On and Off: A Pathway to Cellular Self-Repair

This academic publication presents evidence-based knowledge on preventive healthcare by integrating Buddhist principles with modern medical science to promote holistic well-being among Buddhist monks and the general public. The book features accessible explanations, informative infographics, and references based on internationally recognized academic standards.

The publication is an output of the research project:

"Development of Volunteer Monk Caregivers for the Prevention of Hyperlipidemia through the Integration of Buddhist Principles, Modern Science, and Community Collaboration in Mueang Khon Kaen District."

This project was supported by the Fundamental Fund (FF) under the Thailand Science, Research and Innovation (TSRI) funding program for Fiscal Year 2026, with Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University serving as the host institution and grant recipient.

The Editorial Board of JBER recognizes this publication as an excellent example of translating research findings into practical knowledge that can be widely accessed and applied. The book contributes to preventive healthcare, the reduction of non-communicable diseases (NCDs), and the integration of Buddhist wisdom with contemporary scientific knowledge for sustainable well-being.

JBER cordially invites researchers, academics, students, healthcare professionals, Buddhist monks, and all interested readers to download this e-book free of charge. We also encourage everyone to share this valuable scholarly resource, helping extend the impact of publicly funded research beyond academia and into communities where it can improve health, enhance quality of life, and promote sustainable social development.
