THE DEVELOPMENT OF ENGLISH INSTRUCTIONAL PACKAGE FOR ENHANCING THE KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING ON PART OF SPEECH FOR PRATOMSUKSA 6 STUDENTS, ANUBANPANGMAKHA SCHOOL

Abstract

          The purposes of the research were to 1) to study the efficiency of English instructional package on the part of speech for Prathomsuksa 6 students the criterion of 80/80, 2) to compare English learning achievement of Prathomsuksa 6 students before and after being taught by using the English instructional package, and 3) to study the student’s satisfaction to English subject after being taught by using the English instructional package. The samples were 29 Prathomsuksa 6 students of Anubanpangmakha School who were studying in the second semester, academic year 2021. The samples were selected by using simple random sampling to as an experimental group. The research tool were 1) the English instructional package on the part of speech for the Prathomsuksa 6 students with efficiency at 85.68/88.66 2) 30 questions of English learning achievement test with 4 multiple choices, the degree of difficulty between 0.25 – 0.77, the discrimination power between 0.28 – 0.62 and the reliability index of 0.91 3) questionnaire, 15 choices of 5 rating scales with the level of reliability at 0.94, towards students’ satisfaction. The statistics used for the analysis were percentage, standard deviation and t-test.

          The research results were found that:

2. The English learning achievement of Prathomsuksa 6 students after using the instructional package was higher than before using with the statistical significance at the .05 level.


3. The Prathomsuksa 6 students had high Satisfaction learning English subject using the English instructional package. Mean score by 3.89 with the standard deviation of 0.77
