Challenges of School Administrators in Adopting 7 Habits in the New Normal Era

Abstract

This article is an application of the 7 Habits of Covey concept in school administration during new normal era. They Include 1) Be Proactive 2) Begin with the End in Mind 3) Put First Things First 4) Think Win-Win 5) Seek First to Understand, 6) Synergize, and 7) Sharpen the saw. This application leads to a challenging approach for school administrators amid the Covid19 pandemic situation due to the head of the school need to lead the education management to continue teaching in the midst of a new normal without interruption, with efficiency and effectiveness. Therefore, it is a great challenge for school administrators in the midst of change. This article includes the analysis and synthesis of the concept of 7 Habits, applying 7 Habits to success for executives and summary. The author hopes that this article can be used as a guide and create challenges for school administrators in applying 7 habits to apply in school management in the midst of a new normal.
