Development of Online Learning Management Platform in Music Using Kodaly Technique Combined with Collaborative Learning for Prathomsuksa 6 Students

Abstract

The objectives of this research were: 1) to create the online learning management platform in Music using Kodaly technique combined with collaborative learning for prathomsuksa 6 students; 2) to assess the effectiveness of platform according to the 80/80 criteria; 3) to determine the effectiveness and achievement of learning from the online learning management platform; and 4) to study the opinions of experts on learning with online learning management platform. The sample group consisted of 42 students in prathomsuksa 6/2 at Pratumnak Suankularb Mahamongkol School, under the Office of Nakhon Pathom Primary Educational Service Area 2, academic Year 2022, through cluster random sampling. The research instruments included: 1) quality assessment of online learning platform by experts and 2) achievement test. The collected data were analyzed through a statistical software and reported in percentage, mean, standard deviation and t-test values. The research results revealed that the efficiency of platform developed was 81.17/83.92 which is consistent with the 80/80 criteria recommended by the experts. The effectiveness index of this online learning management platform was .8571 (85.71%). The students’ achievement score was significantly higher, by comparing before and after using online learning management platform, with significance level of .05. The results of the online learning management platform quality assessment by experts was high level, the online learning management platform was interesting and suitable for students of Music.
