Guidelines for Academic Administration Development to Increase Administrative Effectiveness of Administrators under Prachinburi Primary Educational Service Area Office 1

Abstract
The purposes of this research were: 1) to study the relationship between the academic administration and the administrative effectiveness of school administrators, and 2) to propose guidelines for academic administration development to increase effective school management of administrators under Prachinburi primary educational service area office 1. The 285 samples were government teachers selected using the Krejcie and Morgan’s table and stratified random sampling based on school sizes. The research tools included: 1) a questionnaire with the reliability level of .98, and 2) an interview form. The statistics calculated were means, standard deviations, and Pearson’s product moment correlation coefficients. The research findings revealed that: 1) the academic administration and the administrative effectiveness of school administrators were positively correlated at a high level, with the statistical significance level of .01; and 2) guidelines for the academic administration to improve effective school management of administrators under Prachinburi primary educational service area office 1 were as follows: the administrators should develop themselves in curriculum planning to align with the school and community context, determining policies clearly in accordance with curriculum and educational standards, providing constructive supervision, and promoting active learning toward a learner-centered approach using various methods that are appropriate based on the learners’ potential.
