The peer review process is double-blind, meaning the identities of both authors and reviewers are concealed.
Assessment Process
1. Preliminary consideration and plagiarism check.
2. The author pays the publication fee.
3. The reviewers assess the manuscript. All manuscripts must undergo assessment by three expert reviewers (Peer Review). The process follows a double-blind review format, where the identities of both authors and reviewers are concealed.
4. Manuscripts that pass the Peer Review process will be reviewed for academic accuracy by the Editorial Team as the final step.
5. Upon acceptance, authors will receive an acceptance letter for the publication once the Editorial Team’s review is finalized.
Note:
• The acceptance period for publication begins upon completion of the publication fee payment by the author.
• The acceptance period for publication begins upon completion of the publication fee payment by the author.

• The journal use the ThaiJO system as a communication channel with authors throughout the manuscript review process. Please monitor and follow up on the process via the ThaiJO system.
Publication Fee
The journal charges a publication fee for processing charges and compensating reviewers. (Effective on 1st January 2024)
(1) A Thai article 2,500 Baht
(2) An English article 4,000 Baht
Note:
1. Authors must pay the publication fee as per the specified rate within 7 days from the date the journal management office informs the details of the fee payment. The journal management team will notify the authors in advance. If the payment is delayed, the assessment process of the manuscript will be delayed accordingly.
2. Authors should submit proof of fee payment through ThaiJo system (via the Discussion channel). Once the journal management team receives the payment evidence, the manuscript will be sent to the Peer Review Process by expert reviewers for quality assessment and publication in the journal.
3. If the author has already paid the publication fee, but the manuscript is “declined for publication” by the expert reviewers and the Editorial team, or if the author “withdraws the manuscript” from publication, the publication fee is non-refundable. This fee covers the quality assessment process, and payment of the fee does not guarantee that the manuscript will be published.
4. The publication fee will be collected only when the manuscript passes the initial screening and is forwarded to the reviewers for evaluation.
Manuscript Preparation
The Journal of Education and Innovative Learning has provided detailed guidelines for manuscript preparation on its website. Please read the details carefully before submitting your manuscript into the ThaiJo system.
Authors should be aware of the importance of preparing the manuscripts according to the designated template, thoroughly inspecting content accuracy, references, and proofreading before submission. Proper preparation as required can expedite the review process. The Editorial Team reserves the right not to consider manuscripts that do not meet the journal’s standard. Manuscripts will be ‘Decline’ from the system immediately upon detection. Once authors have revised the manuscript accurately as required, it can be resubmitted into the system.
Manuscripts Consideration

Submitted manuscripts will be reviewed using the CopyCat program within the ThaiJO system and the iThenticate program. The journal has established the following criteria for acceptable similarity of academic works, effective from April 2024:
(1) The overall acceptable similarity of academic works is set at no more than 20% of research articles and no more than 10% for academic articles.
(2) The acceptable similarity from a single source is set at no more than 5%. This means that a manuscript may have an overall similarity of less than 20%, but if it contains text that is 15% similar to a single source, it will be considered as having a higher similarity index than the journal's acceptance threshold for a single source.
Importantly, authors must not report their research data inaccurately by creating fabricated, falsified, distorted, embellished data, or by showing only relevant data that supports the conclusions. Moreover, the attitudes and opinions appearing on articles published in this journal are the responsibility of the authors, not the editorial team.

Guidelines for Retraction of Articles in the Journal
For articles that have already been published in the Journal of Education and Innovative Learning, if plagiarism is later detected or a complaint is received—whether the plagiarism originates from the author or another source—the journal will investigate the matter and proceed with retraction. The retraction process follows the guidelines established by the Thai-Journal Citation Index Centre (TCI) as follows:
1. Apply a watermark with the words “RETRACTED” or “RETRACTED ARTICLE” on every page of the article.
2. Modify the metadata by adding “[RETRACTED ARTICLE]” before the article’s title.
3. And/or replace the abstract content in both Thai and English with a statement explaining the reason for the retraction.
Procedures for Handling Retracted Articles
The Thai-Journal Citation Index Center has established the following procedures for handling retracted articles:
1. Officially notify TCI via email at tci.thai@gmail.com so that the necessary corrections can be made in the TCI database.
2. Send a formal letter to the highest-ranking official of the author’s affiliated institution.
3. Reject all article submissions from the author for five years.
Additionally, if the article has already been removed from the published issue, TCI requests that the journal re-upload the article with “[RETRACTED ARTICLE]” in the title and the “RETRACTED” watermark on every page to maintain the continuity of page numbering and the issue integrity.
(These guidelines are recommendations from TCI. Journals may adapt them as appropriate.)
