Development of Computer Assisted Instruction of Mathematics in Lesson Money and Income-Expense Accounts for 3rd Graders under the Association Center 8, the Office of Primary Education Area 1, Chantaburi Province

Abstract

The purposes of this research were: 1. to developed a computer assisted instruction lesson
on money and income-expense accounts for 3rd grade to be effective as the 90/90 standardized
criteria, 2. to compare the students’ learning achievement after and before using computer
assisted instruction on money and income-expense accounts. The sample group were 171 students
in 3rd grade at a school in the academic year 2018 under Primary Educational Service Area 1
Chantaburi. To identify the sample, custer sampling technique was applied. The research
instruments were the computer-assisted instruction lesson on money and income and accounts,
and a learning achievement test on Money and income-expense accounts. The data was analyzed
using mean, standard deviation and t-test for dependent samples.
The results were as follows: 1) The efficiency of the computer assisted instruction lessons
group learning mathematics on money and income and expense accounts for 3rd grade was 93.56/
96.67 which meet the 90/90 standard criteria, and 2) the achievement scores of the student after
studying through the computer assisted instruction was higher than the pre-test one with statistical
significance at the level of .01.
