Analysis of scoring skills of women's international hoop takraw in the 47th National Games, Sisaket Games

Abstract

This research aimed to 1) study and analyze the scoring skills of women's international hoop takraw in the 47^th National Games, Sisaket Games and 2) compare the scoring skills of women's international hoop takraw in the 47^th National Games, Sisaket Games. The samples were female international hoop takraw athletes who participated in the National Games- between 7-16 March 2022. They were 54 persons from 9 teams including Chaiyaphum Province, Udon Thani Province, Prachinburi Province, Phatthalung Province, Phetchaburi Province, Phetchabun Province, Sisaket Province, Ratchaburi Province and Bangkok. The research instrument was a standard hoop takraw score sheet of the Takraw Association of Thailand. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis in term of percentage, mean, standard deviation and presented as a table. The differences were compared using Paired Samples Test at .05 statistical significance level.

              The results from the study, analysis and comparison have shown the skills which mostly used was forefoot skills, followed by lateral skills, forefoot skills, cross-jump skills, knee skills, shoulder skills, backwards skills and instep skills. The comparing the 8 final skills was found that the cross-jumping skills had differences at the .05 statistically significant level.
