Abstract

Objectives of this research were to 1) develop the Electronic Mathematics (20105-2101) instructional package using cooperative learning model TAI technique, 2) determine the efficiency of the instructional package with a 70/70 criteria, 3) compare the difference of learning achievement scores earned before and after using the instructional package, and 4) study the student satisfaction toward the instructional package. Samples consisted of 16 Electronics vocational certificate students at Yala Technical College, who registered to study the Electronic Mathematics subject in the second semester of the academic year 2022. Research instruments were: 1) An electronic mathematics instructional package with eight lesson plans, exercises, and unit tests. 2) An achievement test, with pre- and posttest, and 3) Questionnaires for learners’ satisfaction. Statistics used for analyzing the data were, percentage, mean, standard deviation and t–test dependent samples. Results of this research revealed that 1) the instructional package was found to have an efficiency of E1/E2=71.31/70.13, which was in accordance with the predefined criterion of 70/70, 2) the comparison between pre–and post–test performance of student was statistically significant different at 0.05 level, and 3) the mean value of learner satisfaction was rather high toward the instructional package (x̄=4.46, S.D.=0.47).
