Construction of Online Skill Exercises to Develop Thai Sentence Writing Abilities for Prathomsuksa 6 Ethnic Students (Pwo Karen)

Abstract
The objectives of this research were: 1) to create and devaluate the effectiveness of online exercises for developing Thai sentence writing skills among Pwo Karen ethnic group students in sixth grade; 2) to compare Thai sentence writing skills before and after learning with the exercises; and 3) to study satisfaction with learning management using the exercises. The study population consisted of 25 sixth-grade students at Ban Pui School in the Hod District of Chiang Mai Province during the 2024 academic year. The research instruments included online exercises to develop Thai sentence writing ability, lesson plans on Thai sentence writing, tests to evaluate Thai sentence writing ability, and satisfaction questionnaires for Pwo Karen students in the sixth grade regarding learning management using online exercises. Statistical data analysis used percentages, means (µ), standard deviation (𝜎) and efficiency values (E1/E2). The research results are as follows: 1) Three online skill exercises were developed: Volume 1 on Thai sentence structure, Volume 2 on Thai sentence composition, and Volume 3 on Thai sentence writing. The E1/E2 value was 81.98/83.20, which is higher than the specified criterion of 80/80; 2) Students' Thai sentence writing ability increased after learning. The mean score was x̄=11.76 with a standard deviation of S.D.=2.22, which is higher than the pre-learning mean score of x̄=16.24 with a standard deviation of S.D.=2.18 and 3) Student satisfaction with learning management using online skill exercises was at the highest level.
