A Study of Learning Activities by Using Multimedia in Real-life to Enhance Mathematical Communication Ability in Statistics for Mathayomsuksa 1 Students

Abstract
The objectives of this research were to: 1) Study the results of the learning model’ effectiveness at 70/70 criterion of mathayomsuksa 1 students. 2) compare the sample’ mathematical comunication ability with the 70 percent criterion. The target group consisted of 22 Mathayomsuksa 1/2 students, Roong-Aroon School, Bangkok which using the purposive sampling. The research instruments were 4 lesson plans, a presentation behavior assessment form, and a measure mathematical communication ability test. Data were analyzed by determining the efficiency index and effectiveness index (E1/E2). The research statistics were mean, and standard deviation.
The research results revealed that 1) The effective of learning activities by using the learning model was at 78.79/75.25 as the research criteria. 2) There were 17 of 22 or 77.27 percent of all students who earned the mathematical ability test scores over 70 percent of full score.
