LEARNING ACTIVITIES ABOUT NONG KLAP STUDY FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF CREATIV THINKING OF PRIMARY 6 STUDENTS USING LEARNING RESOURCES AT NONG KLAP TEMPLE, NONG BUA DISTRICT, NAKHORN SAWAN PROVINCE

Abstract

   The objectives of this research is to study the present learning resource at Nong Klup temple, and to create learning activities with the title Nong Klup study for the development of creative thinking. This research is aqualitative research. Main informants consist of two groups. First group are clergy at Nong Klup Temple, community leaders, experienced teachers who teach social studies, religion and culture subject, Nong Klup temple administrative committee, local trainers and local experts. Second group are 61 students. Research area is Nong Klup subdistrict, Nong Buo District, Nakorn Sawan Province. Inductive data analysis was done using qualifying record. Reliability of the research was evaluated through triangular data collection method.

   From the research results, we found from the present situations and problems of learning management of social studies subject that student did not pay attention to learning in the classroom, teachers had limited teaching time, there was not any appropriate learning methods for Nong Klup temple study and there was not any learning activities using temple area to develop creative thinking. The learning activities called “Non Klup Study” were set up to emphasize the development of creative thinking of students using active learning process. Five learning bases were set up, including venerable Derm (previous highly respect abbot), local harmony, group ordination, color stone at Phra mountain, and abundant local museums. The research results were analyzed from 3 parts including appropriate learning resources, the ability to integrate various teaching subjects of teachers and creative works of students. The results were summarized in the form of learning guideline of Nong Klup temple study. The research process also made students be aware of learning resources nearby through the local awareness activities, and caused in part the enduring of knowledge, a path toward sustainable development.
