Developing Drum Set Performance Activities Based on Davies’s Approach for Mattha Yom 2 Student

Abstract

This study aimed to: 1) examine the efficiency of the Development of Blended Learning Activities to Enhance Drum Set Performance Skills for Mattha Yom 2 Student, based on Davies’ concept, in accordance with the 70/70 efficiency criterion; 2) compare the drum set performance skills of Mattha Yom 2 students after the learning activities with the 70 percent criterion; and 3) investigate the satisfaction of Mattha Yom 2 students toward the Development of Blended Learning Activities to Enhance Drum Set Performance Skills for Mattha Yom 2 Student based on Davies’ concept. The sample consisted of 22 Mattha Yom 2/5 students from Nong Kungsri Wittayakarn School in the second semester of the 2024 academic year, selected through cluster random sampling. The research instruments included learning management plans, a drum set performance assessment form, and a student satisfaction questionnaire. Data were analyzed using percentage, mean, standard deviation, and t-test.

              The results of the study indicated that 1) The Development of Blended Learning Activities to Enhance Drum Set Performance Skills for Matthayom 2 Student, based on Davies’ concept, achieved an efficiency of 70.97/78.05, which met the established criterion. 2) The students’ drum set performance skills after the implementation of the activities were significantly higher than the 70 percent criterion at the .05 level of statistical significance. 3) The students’ overall satisfaction toward the Development of Blended Learning Activities to Enhance Drum Set Performance Skills for Matthayom 2 Student, based on Davies’ concept, was at the highest level (  =  4.66 , S.D. = 0.53)
